The Áster Crianza 2020 opens with rich aromas of black cherry, plum, and wild berries layered with subtle notes of cocoa, licorice, vanilla, and a hint of tobacco. On the palate, it’s full-bodied and smooth, with polished tannins and flavors of dark fruit, spice, and earthy minerality. A touch of graphite and crushed stone adds depth, while the finish is long, elegant, and laced with warm mocha and spice.
Pairings Appetizers, vegetables, rice dishes, poultry, game birds, fish stews, mature cheese, roast lamb, and suckling lamb.
